Tartes flambées
The original
As the owner of “Flamms.at” and the general importer of this iconic product for Austria, I offer every restaurant concept a light, simple, and flavorful addition to any menu and the perfect “bar food”.
This “original” “tarte flambée,” originating from Alsace and known as “Flammkuchen” in German-speaking regions, is backed by decades of tradition. Its authentic flavor and unique texture make it impossible to replicate without compromising on quality.
In collaboration with the producer “TFT Spécialités,” we offer a modern and timeless specialty that has already found a very successful place in various concepts across Austria.
Tarte flambée crusts & “fromage blanc” mixture
In a stone oven at over 320°C, these pre-made, paper-thin crusts transform within a minute into a crispy culinary delight. Thanks to the authentic recipe for the “fromage blanc” mixture—known in the local dialect as “Schmier”—this timeless traditional dish has become a “must-have” on every menu.
The combination of the crusts and the authentic Alsatian “Schmier”—not yet available in Austria—promises a slice of tradition on local wooden platters.
The combination of these two products serves as a base for individual creativity in topping the “Flamms,” though “La Traditionell,” with bacon and onion, is the mother of all creations and, out of respect, should lead the selection. We are also offering the “sweet tarte flambée” for the first time. Pre-topped with apple and cinnamon, it is traditionally flambéed with Calvados at the table.
With the company “Neurauter*frisch” for fresh products and “Eisendle” for pre-topped frozen items, we deliver to Tyrol and the surrounding provinces several times a week.
